When
FDC’s primary construction lender approached FDC with
the idea of purchasing this project, the existing developer
- the lender’s borrower - had experienced sizable cost
overruns while installing the infrastructure. FDC agreed to
purchase the project, and at that time, the site had been graded
and the majority of site improvements installed. In order to
properly capitalize the project, FDC increased the size of the
homes and improved the specifications of the original home concept.
This
54-lot community was built out over three phases and enjoys
an excellent reputation with Escondido-area realtors.
