Multnomah Cityside

The infill development of 34 condominiums started in February 2004 and finished in October 2005. The planned building sequence allowed for a continuous delivery of homes for sales, escrow closing and occupancy. With five floor plans we hit a variety of targeted buyer profiles:

  • Singles or couples moving into their second or third home and maybe their first condo
  • Couples, perhaps downsizing, with a desire for a master bedroom on the main floor, a loft and plenty of room for visitors on the second level
  • All homes have a direct access garage - most are for two cars

Infill developers need to recognize the intricacies of interacting with the neighboring properties. Cityside had more than its share of issues with frontage on two public streets, a 10% slope across the 2 acre site to a creek, the relocation of a public sewer line and the construction of two detention basins. These keep the construction management team on their toes.
