Views of Mt. Hood and the Willamette River!

Waterford at Johns Landing is on hold until the economy as related to new construction improves. Various architectural studies were done during Foote's due diligence studies in conjunction with focus group sessions conducted in Foote's Johns Landing condominium with views of the Willamette River and Mt. Hood similar to views realized from the Waterford site. These views, the comfort of the Johns Landing community, and the proximity to downtown Portland provide the impetus for the project's eventual success.

Although Floor Area Ratio guidelines allow up to 100,000 square feet, the most recent design concept, a 30,000 square foot office building and a 50,000 square foot residential condominium – each building having its own underground garage, appears to be the best risk reward scenario. The buildings can be constructed independent of the other, but benefits to building the structures simultaneously are substantial.
